Painting By The Pound

Comment on the DeCordova Show

Len Dalton

Jackie Wattenberg's notes match mine on modern art. I was appalled as well as amazed at the DeCordova Museum in Lincoln where one can see a plethora of "painting by the pound" efforts.

Frankly, I don't like it. It is as if the offending painter laid the canvas on the floor and dropped gobs of paint from a height on a step ladder; SPLAT! Phooey!
