City Of Homes: Spotlight

Bernadette Mahoney

#9 Brown Street, Melrose. Travel up East Wyoming Avenue and take a right onto Brown Street to see a remarkable home.

As local historian Jim McArdle describes it: "Set high on the top of Wyoming Hill is this unique turn-of-the-century tranverse gabled shingled Victorian 'chalet'". It has one of the most magnificient views of Melrose and the surrounding communities, including Boston, Logan Airport and the Atlantic Ocean.
