May 6, Saturday. The Melrose Symphony Orchestra will present their annual spring Pops Concert at Memorial Hall at 8 p.m. with trumpeter Jeffrey Work as the featured soloist. The Melrose Arts and Crafts Society will present its 95th annual craft exhibit at the First Baptist Church, 561 Main Street. Admission is free and the exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 13, Saturday. The Mother's Day Tea sponsored by the Victorian Melrose Society will be held at the Beebe Estate, 235 West Foster Street, from 2 to 4 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear Victorian dress or a "tea hat". A $14 donation per person is requested with the proceeds to support the ongoing and special activities of the society, a non-profit, community organization. Reservations are by advanced payment.
