Happy Valentine's Day

 ... true love prevails

Shirley Rabb

I searched everywhere
A valentine to find
I've looked here and there
I've seen most every kind.

Nothing suited to my taste
The rhymes or colors hazy
If I bought it would be a waste
So I'll rest, 'cause I'm getting crazy.

Maybe I could write a note
Instead of all this trouble
Maybe I could take a boat
Or vanish like a bubble.

I can't find a valentine
They all seem so uncouth
So I'll just say I love you
And that's the whole darn truth.
