Sugared walnut halves

 ... provides fibre, calories and can't-put-'em-down flavor

from Lorry Norris in Melrose



One pound of shelled walnuts.
An eggwhite, mixed and shiny.
Half cup white sugar.
Two teaspoons of cinnamon.

Mix it all, and bake 30 minutes at 300 degrees.

Bag 'em to keep it fresh, then lock 'em up!
