To shave or not to shave

That is the query.

I suppose that I should

But I think I'm too weary.

Perhaps just for one day

I can wash and ignore

The fact that every male

Must scrape his face ever more.

When going about looking hirsute

Everyone will think I look weird.

If they stare at me with askance

I'll tell them I'm growing a beard.

And for this dress-down Friday,

Why should I now stop?

I'll be a hit at the office

With this neat 'jama top.
