We are now into November,
As if you didn't know. Election Day has come and gone And some survived the blow. Some newly-elected, some the same Will be serving our community. Those who didn't get the vote Will retreat with some impunity. The next holiday is Veterans' Day, But we old-timers can remember The eleven-eleven meaning of The eleventh day of November. Near month's end, Thanksgiving Day, But some just won't be rebuffed From naming it as Turkey Day, Then, like the bird, get over-stuffed. November 7, 2003
