My vision of a president

... domestic affairs must be the first priority.

by Shirley Rabb

My vision of a president would be a person that is a politician. This person would have knowledge of Washington and foreign affairs but realize that domestic affairs must be the first priority.

The president should be aware of the wasteful spending on things like the Scud missile and other well over-budget military equipment and get back to overseeing where our money is being spent.

Jobs and health care must be among the first items on the agenda.

We need to export more than we import from foreign countries, and companies that continue to go out of the country to save taxes should be taxed on their products coming back into this country.

Is John Kerry the man? I am not sure, but I do know that George W. Bush is not.
