... the faces at the Victorian Fair

by Silver Stringer Photo Team

Sunday, September 12, 2004 Melrose held the annual Victorian Fair. Main Street from Foster to Grove Street was blocked off from motor traffic because both sides of Main Street were lined with booths. The booths were manned by representatives of banks, food stores, local businesses, schools, police, and anyone willing to buy a space. The following are just a few of the face shots collected. They show awe, surprise, excitement, but no boredom.

The photos were taken by Stringers Shirley Rabb, Natalie Thomson, Don Norris and Ella Letterie.
