The lobster truck
in Myrtle Beach

from Don Norris

Lorry and I came across this delightful anomaly just south of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, this past winter. For you uninitiated readers, this is a New England lobster -- at least it is a carefully molded model, clinging to the roof of the Seafarer Restaurant's truck. We argued over the scene -- is this lobster hanging on for dear life, or does it (as I propose), ah, have a crush on this lovely blue Chevy? We tried to get lunch there, but the Seafarer was closed. Darn.
