Richard Olsen Melrose Fireman for over 40 years (Actually 40 yrs 10 mo), assigned to Ladder #1, Main Fire Station Headquarters, was chosen as the Melrose VFW Post 18, District 18 and State recipient of the State VFW Firefighter Award. He will receive the award at the upcoming VFW State Convention in June.
