Interview with Ben DiMattia

... life-long resident of Melrose

by Carol Nelson

M.M: "Hello. Would you give us your name and an interview for the Melrose Mirror?"
Ben: "Sure."
M.M: Is it true that you are a life-long resident of Melrose?
Ben: "Yes, I was born here."
M.M: Are you married?
Ben: "No, I'm only 10 years old."
M.M: When was this photograph taken?
Ben: "When I was five years old."
M.M: I see you prefer sophisticated and unusual eyewear.
Ben: "Yes, I do."
M.M: Could you tell me what interests you?
Ben: "Eggs, chickens, soccer, swimming, skiing, and the last day of school."
M.M: What is your favorite book?
Ben: "It's hard to choose between "Harry Potter" and "Deltora Quest".
M.M: How about your favorite movie?
Ben: "That would be easy: National Treasure".
M.M: Can you tell me your happiest memory?
Ben: "No."
M.M: Do you have any future plans?
Ben: "I would like to own a breakfast restaurant called "Bennie's Egg Shack" and
I will serve all kinds of eggs: boiled, fried, sunny side up, poached, scrambled, and
omelettes of all kinds."

M.M: I guess you want to specialize?
Ben: "Eggsactly!"
