my dad has played saxaphone for years and still plays everynight as to not lose his talent... he is 80 yrs old and still very healthy man... this sounded interesting for him... could you give me some info on how to get him started in you band...

I'm not sure which article you are referring to, but I'll assume it mentioned the Wakefield Retired Men's Club Band.

I play in it myself. Even your dad will have to give way to George Angrisano of Revere, who turned 100 in February. He played sax and clarinet in the band up to about a year or so ago.
