Early morn at Mount Hood

... light is horizontal, casting long shadows

Photos by Len Dalton

It isn't even 6:00 a.m. and Stringer Len Dalton is on his daily morning walk through the woods and fairways at Mount Hood. This group was taken near to the clubhouse in mid-June.

The sunlight is almost horizontal at that hour, creating fantastic light pictures.

He took two photos of the pond at the same viewpoint. We stitched them to get this wide angle shot.
