The small city of Melrose has recuperated from the May storm that almost sunk our boat. Now the sun is shining and the Fourth of July Parade for our young ones is the big thing in mid-summer. Actually the Mirror has a wide selection of stories for July, ranging from a Korean War piece to a review of old timey soul singers who performed in Memorial Hall. And lots and lots of pictures.
