Perhaps some of you don’t know; in Arizona we don’t change our clocks for daylight savings time. A long time ago, our legislature voted to keep our Mountain Standard Time year around. So last weekend, when most of the country turned their clocks back one hour, we did not. In the summer, we are three hours behind you people on the east coast and in the winter we are only two hours behind. What this means to my wife is, that during the winter, she can talk to her sisters in Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Florida one hour longer on each phone call. November 6, 2006
