... most of us write stories because we can't help ourselves
Most of us write stories because we canít keep from not writing them. Some writers will be satisfied in writing for themselves; they donít really care what anybody thinks.
We who publish in the Melrose Mirror have a motive beyond just writing. We want to know what other people think when they read these stories. This is why we take special care to submit our best writing, being aware that our audience is spread around the world.
The Mirror had 497 hits by readers in just one week as reported by Stat Counter.
Our readers probably donít realize they can comment on these stories. The Melrose Mirror provides you with such an opportunity. Hereís how to do it:
On the Melrose Mirrorís front page is a WHO WE ARE section. Itís in the upper left corner of the front page. When you click on WHO WE ARE a list of all of the SilverStringers, as we are called, will come up. Click on the author of the story on which you would like to comment. You can send your comments by e-mail. Itís easy and the author would love to hear what you have to say.
Or you can simply click on the hand at the bottom of ANY story -- and you'll get a message blank already addressed to all Stringers. Do it. Write to us. Please.
Let's hear from you!
