Carla Gomez-Monroy, a graduate student at the Media Lab at MIT, joined the staff of the Melrose Mirror in late September, as a technical advisor. A graduate of the University of the americas in Mexico City, Ms Gomez is a candidate for a masters in communications. At the left is Mirror advisor John S. Driscoll, Media Lab editor in residence and a native of our city.
