Beauty in the rough

by Don Norris

Beauty is where one looks for it, and often found in its simplest forms. Like this branch of a maple tree that is probably as old as the farm upon which it is growing -- the "iFarm", belatedly the Towne family farm, in Boxford, Massachusetts. Circa 1790.

Perhaps it's the radiant colors -- a strong green against a background of delicate blue -- that makes this picture. Maybe it's the leaf pattern, maybe even the moth-holes in the leaves.

That's it. The story is complete. I share it with our small but world-wide audience.
