Published the first Friday of each month by the SilverStringers of Melrose, Massachusetts -- March 1, 2013

The February story of Saturday night and Sunday morning was designated as a blizzard. And yes, we did get some two feet of snow -- three feet up on the hill, up to five feet in drifts. But most of us can remember the storm of 1978 as being the worst in living history. One difference is that the city's snow-fighters were ready for this one.
