Published the first Friday of each month by the SilverStringers of Melrose, Massachusetts -- April 4, 2014

There are new signs of the impending Spring every day, but the one we Stringers can count on are those supplied by Casa -- a small refugee from Puerto Rico who has been one of the Mirror's most reliable writers. This time, she writes about an annual jaunt along the Atlantic beaches, testing the icey cold waters, enjoying the sun's warmth. Her story is below.

from Shirley Rabb, long-time Stringer writer and photographer.
