Published the first Friday of each month by the SilverStringers of Melrose, Massachusetts -- June 6, 2014

The MVMMS -- the "Middle School" -- produced its annual breakfast for local veterans -- veterans of all wars. It is a popular event for some 80 vets, several wheel-chair-bound. escorted by young ladies of the eighth grade, into the auditorium and onto the stage. There follows a series of speakers, a beautiful harmonized version of the Star Spangled Banner, introductions and speeches. All in all, it is an outstanding event.
