... is still going strong.
In the October, 2012 issue of the Melrose Mirror, Don Norris wrote an article about the members of the SilverStringers who have ventured into the world of videotaping and producing shows on MMTV called, "Have you been here?"
Rita Mucera, in the September 2013 issue, told about the trip to Brooksby Farm in Peabody. Since then this group has been on several excursions gaining more experience and expertise as videotapers, interviewers, and editors. Among trips already aired have been excursions to the DeCordova Sculpture Park, State House in Boston, Nashoba Valley Winery, Peabody Essex Museum, Wenham Tea House, Tower Hill Botanic Gardens in Boylston, and Castle Island, South Boston.
This program is shown on the Melrose local TV channel 3 (Comcast) and channel 39 (Verizon) on Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Fridays at noon. Sometimes it is on at different times as a filler in the MMTV programming.
Watch for our upcoming shows at the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, the Cyrus Dallin Museum in Arlington, and the Wayside Inn in Sudbury.
Not in the works yet, but coming soon, will be a BLOG on which all of the aired TV shows will be shown. Stay tuned.
