Leaves of Autumn ...

... signs of things to come ...

from Don Norris

Don't hold your breath, but guess what's just around the corner. A pessimist
would say that such a beautiful fall is the precursor of an ugly, cold winter.

Not me. Winter is for skiing, ice skating on Ell Pond, sliding down the hills up
to  Mount Hood, building snowmen (and ladies), and toasting marshmallows.

It is for shoveling endless piles of snow, slipping and sliding in your car,
running up a awful large heating bill, wearing heavy clothing and high rubber
boots, and having the plowman come by at five in the morning.

It's all about how you look at life. Personally, I envy my cousins in Pensacola.
