I have got to get out

... this is outrageous

Casa

I am not sure what is happening. In the past human winters I did get out for a walk occasionally. This year my parent went away for what seemed like a long time. I was lucky to have a friend stay with me but  things changed.

The snow kept falling, and falling, and falling and I became house bound.(Except for the quick run out back where my friend had to shovel for me). She was very good to me but even she was confused by all the snow.

Well to let you know my parent came home, but the snow did not stop. I really thought that she could stop the snow but I see now that even she could not.

You can see my dilemma as I try to cope with this terrible human winter. I am getting older( 14 years now), and I really do need my walks, but I think it will be a while before that happens.

I hear that winter is almost over and the sun will shine again. Trees and flowers will bloom; and I can once more start to enjoy my walks on the streets of Melrose sniffing, and happy about the fact that I made it.
