Working with shadows ...

... it's one of those "sometime shots" ...

Nothing startling here, but a once in a year shot of our
favorite oak tree, out the back picture window. Behind the
oak is the Melrose valley and, two miles away, to the west, is
the familiar ridge of the Middlesex Fells. What makes the
photo are the colors, coupled with happenstance, all of
which made it special, made it photographical.
