Children's Holiday Party

Memories of Mt. Hood Park Association's Children's Holiday Party

By Debbi Collar

Santa stopped by early in December at the Mt. Hood Park Association's
Children's Holiday Party. He appeared to be checking his list and "checking it
twice," as were the children.

Patiently waiting for their turn to speak to the "jolly old man," the children
were treated to donuts, cookies and candy.

The most delicious of candy canes - one handed to this child by Santa
himself. Second child contemplates whether to eat the cookie or just admire
it. Third photo-parents appear to be enjoying the party as much as the
children.

Entertainment was also provided by Tim Levesque-Balloon Magic of Yarrow
and on keyboard was Joe Booda. Raffle prizes were donated by many area
companies.

Santa had to be on his way to many more stops but  during, and probably
after the Children's Holiday party-leaving behind him magical memories and
many, many, miles of smiles.
