Even the Wedeco store is gone. This spot on Franklin Street has been the site of many different commercial enterprises -- including (in the 1940's) a branch of the Melrose Public Library. Now, today, most everything has changed -- commercially. The Highlands, Wyoming, downtown, all have "turned over" in the past few years.This transition, as it turns out, will become a new "Special Section - The Melrose that was."
