A different view of our town ...

... from the south, looking north ...

from Don Norris

The camera is somewhere along the city's southern border -- not far from Malden -- looking
north-north-west (if you are or were a Boy Scout), generally toward Wakefield and Lynnfield. Those
are repeater towers, used for electronic transmission of phone, internet and airplane landing
signals. It appears that there's nothing more out there, but we know better. It is, generally, the
bedroom of Boston, a series of ridges and towns that begin up by Gloucester and circle all the way
around the metropolitan area, around to Quincy. To our backs, in this picture, is Revere, Winthrop
and Boston.
