I was born at Providence R.I., September 9, 1913. My family moved to Massachusetts during the summer of 1919. I graduated from Newton High School 1931 and attended Mary Washington College at Fredericksburg, Virginia. Married Stephen E. Urban November 20, 1937. Moved to Melrose in 1943, raised five children. Stephen died July 12, 2002.
Hobbies include Reading, Sewing and Knitting. Also enjoy Square Dancing. Was a Realtor for 6 years and Sales Coordinator for LAM INC for 20 years.

Mrs. B. Natalie Urban, 211 East Foster Street, announced her candidacy for one of the five positions on the Melrose School Committee this week.
Mrs. Urban previously served on the committee for six years. She was first appointed in 1955 to fi1l the unexpired term of Mrs. Dorothy Grant, who moved from Melrose during the last year of her term in office. Mrs. Urban was then returned to the position at the next election in 1957, serving through 1951.
A resident of this city for 23 years she has served as president of the Melrose League of Women Voters, the YMCA Auxiliary, the Community Council and the Washington School PTA.
She has also been active with the Melrose Woman's Club, Melrose Catholic Woman's' Club, the Coolidge and High school PTA's, Mothers' Club, the Citizens Education Council, Women's Republican Club, Community Associates and the Melrose Chamber of Commerce. She has also worked for various charitable fund-raising campaigns in this city.
A native of Providence, R.I., Mrs. Urban is a graduate of the Newton public school system and attended the University of Virginia.
Mr. and Mrs. Urban are the parents of five children, all of whom are attending or graduated from Melrose public schools.
