Born in Boston, March 19, 1930, I was the first of three children born of Frank and Josephine Celani. A Melrose resident for most of my life, I graduated Melrose High School in 1948.
I attended Mass. School of Art, played the marimba and worked as a personal secretary to my father in his automobile business in Malden. In 1954 I married Peter D. Gianino, a physicist with the Air Force Research Laboratory and we raised three children who attended Melrose public schools.
I enjoy writing, dancing (ballroom, line and ethnic), classical music including opera, and cooking. We have traveled extensively throughout the world and experienced many adventures over the years.
I am currently finishing the memoirs of my life and family which has been an exciting project to me.
