78 years old. - Married - Retired.
Born in Boston, lived in Melrose until 8 years old., went to the Lincoln
School.
Graduated from Jamaica Plain High School, Jamaica Plain, MA.
Had two years accounting at Boston University.,
Two years of secretarial school.
Two years at Northeastern University evening classes in English and
phychology.
Employment:
Bayside Flying Service in Revere, MA. where I got my Private Pilot
License for single engine planes.
During the war I kept the records of the Army and Navy Students at
Concord Airport, Concord, N.H.
When the coast line was closed for flying, employed as a dividend clerk
at Hunnewell and Company, a stock broker in Boston.
When the war was over I became a secretary at the Cathedral Church of
St. Paul, Boston. Retired after 36 years from the church at the age of
65.
I now do some volunteer work at Trinity Church, Melrose.
In between, after I married David, we climbed the 4000 footers in New
England and have belonged to the Applachian Mountain Club Have lived in Melrose for the past 34 years.
Began attending the Melrose Silver Stringers in September 1999 and decided
to become a member.
